Day in the sun (finally)

Finally after 2 months of snow and cold we had a warm day so while Melissa was in SanFrancisco working, the kids and I took a drive to Hardware Ranch near Logan to spend a couple hours in the mountains looking at 600 head of elk. And as we are waiting to get on the horse drawn sliegh here is Brooke, Carson and Lane getting off (What a small world).

Let it snow

As you can see it just keeps snowing and snowing, I have used my snow blower more this year than any other year. The kids and I decided to go build a snowman which ended up about 7 feet tall. As you can also see I must have had one to many beers and the kids one to many hot chocolates as our snowman is leaning to the right. After watching the Super Bowl that night we came home to Frosty passed out and laying on the ground.

Christmas

Aruba

Here are a few of the pictures Melissa and I took in Aruba before our camera died on the second day. As you can imagine that made us a bit mad to have the rest of the week and had to buy a throw away camera. We had a blast, the weather was perfect, the ocean water was warmer than the pool, but after a week we could not wait to get home to our kids.

Montoya Family Reunion

We finally had a family reunion on my mothers side. It was nice to see everyone that we had not seen forever. It was the first time we had been to Big Rock Candy Mountain and what a cool place, you could fish, hike and ride 4 wheelers which we did (it was less work) We had about 16 4 wheelers and went on a 40 mile ride that took most of the day, a bit much for the kids and Lori who rolled the 4 wheeler she was riding. I think Larry finally bought one she could just ride in!!!! Don't worry the kids where cleaning up the trail not really drinking!!!!!
